Frequently Asked Questions

1. What grades do we serve? 4-year-old kindergarten through 8th grades.

 

2. What Christian doctrines do we teach? Parents should see our Statement of Faith in the Handbook. We are a Christian non-denominational, evangelical school that seeks to base all that we do upon the Bible, believing that it is the rule of our faith and our practice. We have virtually every Christian denomination represented in our faculty and student body.

 

3. What are the hours of the school? Generally school begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:10 PM.

 

4. Do kindergarteners go to school all day?  We have a full day program (from 8:30 AM until 3:10 PM, Monday through Friday).

 

5. How much does it cost to send a child to CWCS?

6. Is there any financial help for families that cannot afford the full tuition? There is a Tuition Assistance Program and a Work Scholarship Program which can provide the majority of the needed funds to eligible families.

 

7. Is CWCS accredited? No, we are not accredited by the State of Colorado, nor do we seek its accreditation. We believe that we are accredited by the parents that send their children to CWCS.

 

8. How does CWCS compare academically to area schools? CWCS has shown in its standardized testing over a number of years that its students are generally 1 ½ to 2 years academically ahead of students in area public schools.

 9. What extra-curricular activities does CWCS have available? Music, physical education, speech competition, drama. spelling bee, volleyball, basketball, track and field, softball are all available.

10.  Does CWCS provide "Before/After School Care?  All students enrolled as full time students in CWCS are eligible for this program.
